![]() So far we have only tested with free apps, and there is a slightly different process with Volume purchasing which we haven't looked closely at yet. Then in the Maas360 console, I just add app as an Enterprise app (not iTunes) and push it out this way. ![]() On my Windows pc the options in the iTunes apps were just to download, and the file it downloads is the ipa. You get iTunes loaded onto your pc (the one you use to manage the portal from). UPDATE: So I did what Ross explained above. What do I need setup to resolve this issue? This will be an issue if I need to push out apps to staff later on because I don't want to have to handle calls about them not being able to 'logon' I don't want a scenario where each device needs its own Apple ID, and I thought the VPP I had would work, but this is rejected on the basis it is a VPP and not an Apple ID (not the same thing? Even though when I go to the Apple site and it asks for my Apple ID it will accept my VPP details? Weird)Īt any rate, I was expecting that since Maas360 is setup with all these details, when I enrol a device (which I have been doing via a URL and not a notification sent to device), I was expecting that I should be able to 'push' applications down as needed, and not have to enter details on the device itself. However, in both cases, it is asking me to enter an Apple ID. In the inital enrollment, I do get prompted to install this app, or I can tap on it to start an install from the catalog. I enrolled a device, which happens fine, and then in the app catalog there is the Maas360 for iOS app. I got a Business VPP from Apple to handle apps, and set this up in Maas360 We are setting up our Maas360 MDM as part of a tablet rollout.
